Baseball & Softball Winter Skills Registration Now Open!

Registration for both Elgin Classic Little League's (ECLL) Baseball Winter Skills Training Program and Softball Winter Skills Training Program is now open!

The Baseball Winter Skills Training Program is available for “Baseball Little League Age” 8-13 years old in 2018 - those who were born between September 2004 and August 2010.

The Softball Winter Skills Training Program is available for Softball Little League Age” 8-14 years old in 2018 - those who were born between January 2003 and December 2009. 

SPACE IS LIMITED TO 35 FOR EACH PROGRAM SO REGISTER TODAY!!

The Winter Skills Training Programs are open to players at any skill level.  The program will again focus on hitting, fielding, throwing and base running as well as pitching and catching.  Every participant will learn the fundamentals and will have the opportunity to practice these skills.

This year, there will be 5 Saturday sessions (see dates below).  The cost is $100 for each program.

When you log into or register your account at www.elginclassicll.com you will see the Winter Skills Program registration option.

There are two requirements to participate in Winter Skills:

  • You must register (including a payment - whether full or partial) for a 2018 Spring Little League Program by January 31st.  We encourage you to register your child soon to take advantage of the early registration discount.
 
  • Any outstanding balances from 2017 (Fall Ball, All Stars, etc.) must be paid in full before you can participate. You can still register but outstanding balances need to be paid in full before the first session on 1/27/2018.
 

All sessions for both Baseball and Softball will be held at the Elgin Turners Hall at 112 Villa St in their third-floor gym.  The dates of the sessions are as follows with softball from 1-3pm and baseball from 3-5pm:

For Softball this year, we are pleased to announce that the Lead Instructor is Larkin High School’s very own head varsity softball coach: Anne Vogt! We are very excited at her willingness to lead our Softball Winter Skills Training Program.
