Baseball's AAA, Major, Intermediate, and Junior Divisions and the Minor A, Major, and Junior Divisions for softball all require a player evaluation to ensure that player is in the correct division. Furthermore, Elgin Classic uses the evaluations to help create equitable teams based on the skill level of its players - providing competitive balance between teams.
Evaluations
We will be holding player evaluations on Saturday, February 27. This will be held at Harvest Christian Academy. We are still working on a schedule and will get those details out soon.
Evaluations allow coaches to divide the teams evenly to ensure that each team has a variety of skill levels from beginner to experienced players. This also builds competitiveness among the in-house teams.
