Spring 2019 Baseball Registration Open!

Below is a short explanation of each Baseball Division and season timeline employed by Elgin Classic Little League.  Also included is a link to the Little League Age calculator that we follow to determine ages.   The AAA, Major, Intermediate and Junior Divisions require a player evaluation to ensure that player is in the correct division.  Elgin Classic also creates teams based on the skill level of its players - creating competitive balance between teams.

Player evaluations will be held the weekend of Saturday, February 23rd at a location to be determined.  Evaluation times are still to be determined.

Teams for most divisions will be chosen in late February to early March and practices starting soon after depending on division and weather.  Our Opening Day Ceremony at Wing Park will most likely be held Saturday, April 27th

Games for some of the older divisions start mid to late April but most division games start early May.  The season runs through May and June with Little League All-Stars tournaments in July.

If you are NOT sure about which division to place your child, make a best guess or reach out to a board member.  We will make a final determination after your child is evaluated.

Register soon to take advantage of the early bird discount available through January 13!  On January 14, all registration fees will increase by $25.  Late fees will be applied after February 15th.  Registration closes February 22nd.

This year, treat tickets for all home games will be included in the registration fee for Tee Ball, AA, AAA, and Majors.

Beginning this year, the $50 non-volunteer fee will be charged to all (no longer waived automatically if you volunteer at registration to manage or coach).  Only two hours of volunteer service is required to qualify for the refund.  The refund will be in the form of a credit to your account which can be used toward future registrations. (If your child chooses not to return in subsequent years, you can request a check refund from our treasurer.)

After reviewing the Baseball Divisions below you can log into (or register) your account at www.elginclassicll.com and register your child(ren).
